Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Do not try to teach Jesus to the intellect.
     Speak from heart to heart.
When preaching or sharing, we do not teach Jesus school. We step aside and
allow Him to fill our mouths. This is an extremely difficult thing for men.
When a man of God tries to sound good and makes an effort to impart interesting
and important information, he usually quenches the Spirit of God, who only needs
a mouth and a pumping heart.
The one who would be a true servant must allow God to use his weakness to reveal
Jesus. That servant must learn to step aside and let the Holy Spirit say things the
servant may have never heard before, rather than step forward and say things that will
please the ears.
Soldier, heaven does not care about pleasing the ears, not does heaven care that
you feel satisfied with how you have done after your preaching. Heaven only cares that
Jesus is revealed.
     Read Revelation again.
Then stand up and preach, knowing that the King of Glory will be faithful to reveal
Himself as long as you are willing to stand up and simply be heaven's lightening rod.
