Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

It is never foolish to wait on the Lord.
Are you in a quandary? No doors open? Don't know what to do?
     Then wait.
There are times when it is appropriate to pray about a situation or need and then
the thing to do is to go forward and knock on every door until one opens.
But when there are no doors, one must wait and in the meantime, deal with all
presence, the immediate task.
The leading of the Lord is not hazy or clouded. When He shows us directly it is
right before us, and when He wants us to wait, we know we must do so because
the only choices are clearly unwise. Then, we must hold position until we see a
place into which to move.
There are no formulas, but one thing is sure - He longs to have us follow Him,
and He will lead us with His eyes.
