     If the Cross is not beautiful to you, why do you read this devotional?
     Of course it is beautiful - it is just that it is painful.
     And it is intended to be.  Where is there a Place not painful?
     Faith.
     Faith is not painful.  And we were created to live by Faith.  Soldier, do you have a 
difficult mate?  What does the Bible say?  It does not say you should have a happy
Christian marriage, but there is a way of escape!
     It is not in leaving or sending your mate away. but it is in obedience.
     We have crystal clear instruction concerning our behavior, and the behavior of the
mate should not be considered unless it is a factor in demanding Biblical Wisdom.
     You will not be able to stand before the Lord and explain how difficult your mate 
was.  You will account for yourself only.  You will account for your obedience in taking 
every thought captive and leading it away.
     Ask the Lord what that means.  I could write several books on it, but the chances 
are, it would not help you much.
     You need Jesus.
     You must see Him and want Him, and be willing to pay the Price.
     What is the Price?  The death of the flesh.
     The Cross!
