     Your attitude about suffering releases a sweet savor or a rank one.
     No one loves the feeling of suffering - that is why we call it suffering.  
     But Peter tells us it is our calling - inseparable from our vocation.  That means
there must be a deliberate and assertive decision to yield to the Lord in these matters.
It makes all the difference in the world.
     When trials come, the Soldier who has prayed that way sees Jesus and waits for 
and looks for Jesus, rather than howling about how bad things are and begging only
to be delivered.
     Yes, we may pray to be delivered unless there is a restraint for some reason, but
we also must learn to give Him all there is, and that usually comes through suffering.
      Heaven offers no short-cuts.
