Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

The Soldier of the Cross must learn not to react.
     But to respond.
We have the indwelling Holy spirit, and that means learning to respond to Him who
is tenderly powerful, and able to lead the one who is willing.
Far too many Christians are convinced they must deal with all the things that make
them feel various ways - fearful, angry, resentful, anxious, frustrated. . .
The Bible does not teach us to deal with feelings. the Bible teaches us to obey
the Lord in spite of and even in the experience of the feelings.
Soldier, trim your sails! Do not pick up the wind of the flesh, but turn your sails full
into the obedient following of the One who adores you and gave Himself for you.
He will not let you down, and He will not play hide-and-seek with you.
He longs to set you free!
