Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

There are days when everything seems to go wrong.
Soldier, when that happens, bring no attention to it. Do not take yourself
seriously enough to give the "going wrong" value, - simply move on.
When those days or seasons come, believers often make little openings for the
enemy to leak in.
Words chosen at that time are critical. Be wise. Do not say, for example, "This is
awful! Everything is going wrong. I can't do anything right. I should have. . ."
It is best to say nothing, or to take an opposite approach and share a verse having
to do with the sovereignty of God. After all, He who knows when each sparrow falls
was not taking a nap when your circumstances "went wrong."
That is unscriptural speech for the Christian.
If you utter words that do not line up with His, there are cracks that beckon to the
enemy. He uses negative thought as wedges, then follows up with depression and
physical symptoms of some kind.
There is no such thing as a word of no effect. Each word creates life or death.
Each word either points to God as sovereign, or to you as the "wanna-be" master.
You said He could have your life.
That means you gave up your right to frustration.
He gave His Life so that His Blood-bought Ones would live way, way beyond their
circumstances!
