Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Be sure to avoid putting God in a box.
One of the most lethal positions a Christian can take is that of having the "right
 answer. "
You have absolutely no idea what will reach the listener, nor do you have all truth.
That is why it is so critical for all of us to wait on the Lord for the answer to each
question.
How often I have seen someone fall into pat answers and of course, that always
results in the quenching of the Spirit.
Brothers and Sisters, it is not about having the right answers - it is about letting
the Lord give His answer, tailor-made for the inquirer. Of course we must have an
answer for the question, but it does not have to be pre-packaged, and oh Soldier, if
you will wait on the Lord, He will give you the most stunningly creative answers.
They will not be intellectual (probably), but they will woo the heart of the listener.
We have tiny little pea-brains, and we tend to operate that way. But the One Who
hung the stars would love to have the tongue in such a way that He can be allowed to
have creative room.
He will never go against His own Word, but He will breathe in a supernatural
rainbow of revelation if He is allowed.
