Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

There can be no freedom without a spirit of submission.
The believer with an independent spirit will always stop short of stepping over the
line in any area of service. He will always use his feelings to regulate his service to
the Body of Christ, and he will be on the lookout for a reason to separate from others.
      It is simple.
When the Lord reveals these things, the sinner should repent and get right. He
eagerly restores and will use whatever time and faculties we will give him.
It is not appropriate for one to go to another and demand a change of behavior, for
the one who lives in this problem usually feels socially crippled, even though he may
not appear to be so.
Our submission to the Body and the authority of God is evidenced in unusual ways.
The one who is available because of prayer will go love the most unlovely member
or visitor. He will speak and listen to others, understanding his own body is used
by the Lord to reveal Love.
He will be there no matter what. He understands when he is gone, there is a hole.
When there is singing, he will give it his all. When it is time to pray, he will pray.
When it is time to clean, he will clean.
He loves the Word and does not club others with it.
His heart leaps when he meets another who is a yielded Soldier.
He has no agenda but that of his Lord and Savior.
