Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Time stands still for no man.
And although it often seems that some have more of a chance than others, the One
who died for us is the same one who preserves the days of some into incredible
length and takes others as infants.
We do not have the capacity to understand but we do have the ability to trust.
The element of time is a phenomenon that will not be present in eternity. We have
a tendency to think of eternity as unending time, but when we are in heaven we will
chuckle about our concepts.
Now, we know what the Bible says.
He has rescued us, bought us, and is preparing a Place for us.
He could catch us up to meet Him in the air at any time, and we must spend the
remaining minutes and hours wisely.
Oh, Soldier! Please discipline the body. Please harness the tongue.
     Love the Body of Christ.
Quit whining about anything at all.
Stop worrying about how things will turn out and absolutely cease spending your
mental and verbal energies rehashing the problems of your children.
Remember, a divine blowtorch is going to be turned on our lives, and only what is
done with eternal values will last.
We are a seriously indulgent generation and we need to repent and turn.
We need to learn to spend time according to God's economy of spending.
Soldier, look up and move on!
