Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

     Do you have peace today?
I mean, real, deep, pervading Peace.
The One who calmed the storm wants to teach you also. It is His offer as Prince of
Peace that can afford you the opportunity to learn to be a peacemaker instead of a
frustrated complainer, who has the unwelcome skill of seeing all that is wrong.
Have you noticed that some believers are always complaining? They have
neglected the instruction to ". . .believe the best. . ."
That is a commandment. It does not mean we ignore obvious devious evil, but it
does mean we resist the enemy when he comes in, bringing his stunning skill of
guessing what might be the motive or cause of a particular unpleasant word or action.
     Soldier, obey. Be a peacemaker.
Do not be one who always has something wrong. Be a Soldier of the Cross.
Take up and put on your back the implement of the Death of the Flesh!! You have
no right to be offended, justified or lauded.
You do not know the motive of the heart and you will not in this life.
We have The Prince of Peace.
And if you allow Him, He will take your hand and lead you into a divine cove where
the storm will never touch you again.
