Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Be slow to speak ill of anyone, but especially another believer.
When we assassinate others behind their backs, there is a door that swings open
and the enemy is right there to sachet quickly through.
Ladies, be careful how you talk about your husbands and children. So often the
flesh secretly seeks revenge and false balance, and the mouth moves merrily along.
The sting is felt by both the listener and the talker, but usually neither realizes what is
going on.
Soldier, be careful when believers approach you to inform you of the faults of
others. Usually there is an agenda, and that is to weigh your opinion and attitude
against the other party.
     Satan is lurking.
It is tough to do the first time, but you must make yourself unavailable to this kind
of sin. We are told to flee idle chatter, not because it is a second best way to spend
time, but because it is a trap.
     Talk clean.
      Listen clean.
      Live clean.
