     The Lord has never done anything that could be called "normal" by human 
standards. 
     The only reason some of the Bible stories have any normalcy to most people is
because of their familiarity.  The truth is, building a huge ship in the middle of nowhere 
and collecting animals to put inside, when there has never been any rain or concept of 
rain, is more than bizarre.
     No ocean can part, disclosing safe, dry land.
     It is not possible for an army of 300 without weapons to wipe out tens of 
thousands of well-armed men.
     No one can be resurrected after four days - maybe one or two, but certainly not 
after the body begins to rot badly.
     We are not of this world, and unless we learn to bend to Him and His Way of 
operating, we will not be free.  Oh, Soldier of the Cross!  What could He do with our
lives if we were willing to move away from the familiar and "normal" ?
