     Soldier, you did not earn or deserve your salvation.
     You were saved by Grace.
     And your walking in and with the Lord is also by Grace.
     It is easy to feel that we ought to be worthy of His Presence, or of being led.  Of
course we need to make holiness our vocation, but that does not mean we are earning
anything.  It means we are being obedient and agreeing with His priorities.
     There is not one Believer who has done everything right.  There are no super 
Christians.
     We are told to look neither to the left or to the right. Let us put away self 
examination without the Holy Spirit  and move on.
     We can't earn His Life, but we certainly can look away from all that would distract!
