Daily Devotional

Today you must consider what your excuses are.
It is that you do not have enough money? Is it that your training is too limited? Is it
possible that some red tape situation is in the way?
     Is your spouse difficult?
     Is there a child misbehaving?
Does someone love to spread misunderstanding about you?
Soldier of the Cross,He knows it all. He knew it before you were born, and he
has already worked it out.
The real issue is, is God's Word true?
If so, your anxiety and frustration constitute sin, and you must deal with God. It is
not possible to serve your flesh and the One who holds the stars in place at the same
time.
    So, no excuses.
     Take the matter to Him.
Speak candidly, and do it outloud.
He will hear and He will answer. But, make sure it is Outloud! this forces the one
who prays to articulate the issue to the Lord.
Soldier of the Cross, leave it all behind - and that includes all your excuses for the
way things are, the way you feel, and the reasons you have for resisting faith.
     There is nothing else.
     So, let it all go.
     At Calvary.
