Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Anger is a terribly destructive force.
It always has a target, and it is never satisfied.
There are numerous forms of anger: jealousy, which is the spirit of murder,
frustration, impatience, resentment, and these are only a few.
Anger and its children are constantly justifying themselves, and attacking
those who do not join their party.
Anger leaks. It leaks into conversation. It leaks onto the countenance. It
leaks into the structure of the day.
Anger is offense that has become infected.
It is blind, and the one who bleats and paws the ground disgraces himself and
exposes himself to be a fool.
Soldier of the Cross, your enemy, the devil, is anger personified. As a roaring
lion, he seeks to replicate himself in anyone who does not resist him.
Gaze upon Jesus. Consider His incredible sacrifice. Take notice again that
you were saved by Grace. Read the verses that say His heart is ravished, every
time you think of him.
Who ever heard of such Love?
Resist the enemy, and he will flee from you.
