     The issue of tongues is a curious one.
     God's Word is clear - it is not for common use in the Body of Christ.  It is not 
a Gift to be sought.
      It is a supernatural sign to the one who is not a believer, but is about to believe.
      Paul is implicitly clear in I Corinthians.
      There were several problems in the Corinthian Church.  One of the more 
serious problems was the misuse of the "gift" of tongues.
      Soldier, we operate under the Sovereignty of God.  He says He wants to
delegate His authority or His gifts, we agree.
      We obey.
      We see His Headship.
      We move in tandem with His indicated desire.
      You are not allowed to interpret the Word of God based on your experience.
Rather, you are commanded to interpret your experience through His Word.
       Soldier, so be it.
