Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

There is an exquisite beauty to contentment.

And, it is hard to find on the earth. Even Believers have become recreational complainers.

We complain about the weather.
About finances or soaring prices.
About our bodies.
About the behavior of others.
About the schedule.
About the music.

About the sermon.

Actually, we are complaining against God. He who is sovereign has said that we may and must take up the matter with Him.

Being content does not mean being passive, nor does it mean choosing to embrace the thing that is not right.

Contentment simply means there is One who can be trusted, and we will trust Him, indeed.
