Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

The death of the flesh is not a position - it is an experience.
There are many Christians who are stimulated by messages
on the Cross. Some can respond to a challenge for commitment
and, in absolute sincerity, they take unto themselves the
teaching of the matter. They agree, even emotionally, with the
necessity of being a Living Sacrifice.
Then, when persecution comes, they wail and flail, demanding
earthly justice. When personal suffering comes, they insist on
recognition for it. When there is misunderstanding, there is no
grace for the offender.
Soldier of The Cross, the death of the flesh is unpleasant for
the flesh, but it is sweet to the one who submits to the Lord in
prayer.
He told us He would withhold no good thing. He has told us
He will see that all things work together for good to those who
love the Lord and walk according to His purposes.
We know His Love for us is so great, it can not be put into
human words.
Therefore, no matter what happens, we can thank Him,
because we take Him at His Word.
He knows what He is doing.
     Thank Him for His Plan.
Thank Him that He has protected you from seeing the end. Thank Him for His love, so deep, that He will go to infinite ends to bring about His likeness in you. Thank Him for the power of the Holy Spirit, by whom we are enabled to see Him. Many think they long for holiness. Those who genuinely want Him, take up The Cross. Daily.
