Choice:

Attitude and feeling are not always the same.    We life in a fallen world and only the dead escape emotional assault.  The greatest saints are not treasured examples to us because they learned to feel jubilant all the time.   Their stories blow on the coals of our hearts because of the attitudes they embraced.    Attitude is the position taken when agreeing or disagreeing with God.  One can suffer a devastating blow, yet determine that in spite of all appearances, God is still on the Throne and fully aware.     Unfairness and misunderstanding are painful without exception.  There can be nothing harder than the loss of a child.  Yet going down the vast list of human difficulties, God has said that you must agree with Him.  In sorrow, in anger, in unfairness, in sickness and in anything that can be named, the most important thing is to agree with God.  This agreeing with God takes place in prayer and should be aloud.    You do not have to understand.    You do not have to be understood.    You may be healed, but you may not be.    You do not have to see the answer.    You do have to roll your burden on to Him and move on more deeply into the frontier of faith.    Soldier of The Cross, the Bible does not outline an immediate fix.  We have clear and deliberate instruction. We are told we have been empowered  and we know it is true because it is not possible to return from whence we came.  The Indwelling Holy Spirit gives us witness that we must agree, and He reminds us what it is that we are agreeing about.    You can not always choose how you feel, but you can always choose your attitude.    Agree with God.
