- Please do
not tell your children that there is a Santa Claus. It is a lie
and it is not harmless.
You may think it is fun, but it is a
tool used by Satan to plant in a child's mind that what you have
told him about Jesus may not be true.
What a cruel thing to have a parent
convince a child that there is an unseen being who will reward
him for behavior and that Santa is the giver of presents. That
robs the child of the earliest possibility of giving to others,
and lays a foundation of mistrust.
Children need to know the truth
and they need to trust their elders. Fun and joking are great
and have an appropriate place, but there are children whose parents
go to great lengths to lead them to believe something that is
totally fictitious.
" God is light, and in Him is no darkness
at all." God never lies to us. He is a Father to be trusted
completely. He will not mislead us to amuse Himself or preserve
tradition.
Be Godly parents. Teach your
children the truth and nothing else.
