All day today I have
been fighting being overwhelmed. An already excessively busy
schedule has been injected with a project that must be done,
and there are not enough hours even if all else is dropped So, every few minutes I have been deliberately thinking of an appropriate verse. No verse will make the pile of work go away, but I find that the frequent reminder brings perspective. The busier we are, the more we should pray. The poorer we are, the more we should give. The deeper the hurt, the greater our efforts should be to encourage someone else. God certainly has an economy different than ours, and we weren't constructed to bear the impossible. I am grateful that our God does the impossible quite easily! |
