- You must
learn to love the battle.
It is not good to be always praying
for circumstances to be different. That is the opposite of contentment.
The Christian soldier must concern himself with the needs of
others, and of course, our own situations and lives need prayer.
But instead of praying for things
to be the way we like to have them, there is every indication
in the Bible that we should learn to accept, yes and even cherish
the way some things are now.
There are always changes to be
prayed for, and deliverance and depth never come without prayer.
But at the same time, when was the last time you heard a sermon
on "I will take pleasure in infirmities, persecution, famine.
. "?
Even when there is fasting and
prayer for defeat of particularly strong demons, the believer
must learn to enjoy and submit to the sovereignty of God. Life
does not begin, when the answer to prayer can be seen - life
is passing right now!
Oh brothers and sister. Please!
Learn to enjoy the battle. Even in tears of pain, and in seeming
failure, learn to enjoy the battle!
