- It is the
tendency of human nature to want to know why.
Most of the why's we will see in
heaven when we will have the capacity to understand. Right now,
He wants us to operate on a "because I said so" basis,
and our obedience to Him is for that reason and that reason
alone - because He said!
- Most tragedy
and even the things that seem small and either good or bad will
be put in perspective when we see Jesus.
For the time being, don't wait
for everything to make sense - if you do, you will miss the Lord.
If I must know why, it means that
I consider myself to be so important that I must pass approval
on the reasons for things that are out of my control.
A soldier may wonder, but he does
not need to be given a reason before he carries out his assignment.
We are soldiers of the cross, and there must be those who are
willing to obey now and get the reason why later.
