- Just
because you are being misunderstood doesn't mean you have done
something wrong. Remember that sharing in His sufferings can
not happen when everyone likes you and thinks you are the cat's
meow.
- If you have
done something that doesn't line up with the Word, confess it.
If you have done it against someone, you may want to confess
it to that person. Maybe not - much wisdom should be exercised
in this so that the other person is not held responsible to relieve
your guilt feelings.
However, part of the real
Christian life is being misunderstood. Decide in prayer that
it is His business and not yours. If you don't, you will limp
for the rest of your time on earth.
Time spent with God's people, His Word,
and prayer make heaven more real than earth. His delight with
obedience becomes closer and more desirable than human approval.
Nothing eternal has ever been accomplished
by popularity, and it never will be!
