- The
Word! The Word! The Word! Remember how much you need the Word!
- Without
the Word of God on a daily basis, there is no light, and we begin
to grope. There is no fuel for prayer, and we begin to pray amiss.
- Real spiritual
power is not something felt, but it is something lived. When
the believer thinks he is feeling spiritual power, he is usually
deceived.
When there is no or at best, spotty Word
of God reading and memorizing, the doors are open for the invasion
of puffy knowledge and the illusion of power.
It is a little humbling, but true
that those who consider themselves too busy or too knowledgeable
for the freshness of the Bible each day become spiritual geeks,
and exude the smell of death.
- It
is simply discipline. Just do it. Trust the Lord, obey the Lord,
and do it!
