give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the
work of your hands. . Deut. 28:12 Listen to me. How easily absorbed are you? Are you an oil slick on the floating sea that can be taken up by a simple compound, or are you driven by the Divine calling? Does God mean what He has said or doesn't He? You'd better decide. Now. The things you have been looking at are not critical, but they press. Turn around. Look at the Lover of Your Soul, and meditate for a few minutes on His deep, deep love for you. Consider His concern for your thought and emotions. He died on the Cross so that you could know freedom from the very things that seem to be so clinging. His plan for you is guaranteed for your certain good - but you must back away from your human concept of what that means. |
