Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Can you say the books of the Old Testament?
I must review them all the time, since I tend to put Micah in the wrong place.
I am stunned at the numbers of Christians who are not really interested in the study of God's Word, but how can they study when the basic introductions have not been made?
      Would you like to start?
For a new or old Christian, here is a good beginning plan:
Memorize the books of the New Testament. Say them over and over until you do not miss. Even one little miss!
Then just read the intro in your amplified or Scofield, or some bible that has little notes before each book starts and jot down in four or five words what the theme of the book is, or its major fulcrum.
Memorize that by saying outloud the matching theme with each book.
Do the same for the Old Testament and you will begin to warmly have a curiosity about what is in all these places.
Learn these things by praying first and asking the Lord to lead in each word - be sure to confess all sin you know of, and then jump in.
Don't forget you have living inside you the One Who wrote it!
