You may feel
like a wanderer, but you're not! We who are in Christ are sojourners and pilgrims, but not wanderers. In fact, not only do we have an earthly agenda, but we have One to follow while we are here. Because we sometimes feel out of control and do not know the next two moves, it is tempting to buy into the whisperings that come at us. The enemy wants us to see our dependence on our King as weakness, and if we are not careful, we can begin to see ourselves as less successful and directed than the world. It isn't true. Our neighbors have settled physically, but they have never found the Rock of Ages, and until then, all that they build is on shifting sand. We go by faith. We follow by faith. We keep following by faith but "I know Whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed to Him, against that day!" |
