What a wonderful
thing to have choice! This blessed privilege is a wide open door to intimacy with God, contentment in living, and power to serve. But few find these places to dwell because most are looking for particular circumstances in order to make their choices. The Lord did not design it that way. Whatever my situation happens to be, that is my opportunity for choice. I can choose Him, or I can choose me. If I am in prison, the choice is the same. If I am on the stage, the choice is the same. If I am a mother with quintuplets, the choice is the same. It always comes down to the same thing, doesn't it! Each moment in the believer's life is an opportunity to live by faith, to reveal Jesus, and to press on into the frontier - He in whom such rich treasures are found! Your situation does not need to change one little bit, in order for you to have the freedom to choose from all there is. He who makes millions out of a penny can offer you everything in a second, and no chain can restrict Him. Wake up - look around! Minister! Buy the time! |
