One of the precious treasures
found in Christ is that the Word of God gives light to go the
next step. Many who are without the Lord don't realize that they are without hope. Consequently, they often need artificial reasons to continue living, to continue working, and to continue anything, day after day. But we who have the indwelling Holy Spirit can obey God's Word, and we are held up. We have the supernatural provision to keep on because He said to. We don't need to know why, and we don't need results. The reason? Because we don't simply believe the unseen, we were born into the unseen. It is the seen world that is less real to us. The unbeliever cannot live that way, because he has not been born into the unseen realm yet - that is the "Kingdom of His dear Son." He will lead us just as we really need it. He will illumine only what we need to see. He will provide the power to wait, and the substance to declare as Truth what He has said is true. We always want a telescope to see what lies way down the trail. But the Lord trains us daily to pray to the contrary, to think to the contrary, and to move steadily and securely in obedience. |
