wall is built by putting one brick upon another. Even though we seem to be always looking for another way. Life must be lived one hour, one minute, one second at a time. These seconds involve choices, and these choices make up a man's life. Begin first by controlling what comes out of the mouth. Decide to create only, and nothing more. It is a habit that can be developed, and the deliberate choice of speech in response to the Word of God is, in fact, how the Bible says we should speak. This cuts out preachiness but includes witnessing. It eliminates vindictiveness and offers the other cheek. This squelches gossip and ministers life. The ministry of the tongue is not possible without the Word of God daily. "Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee" |
