Time and
time again the Word of God reminds us that there is not to be
a time in this life when people will cease to criticize us or
we will always have all the money we want before the need arises,
nor will we have our last illness, only to be perfectly healthy
for the next twenty years. Those things are not to be desired. The things that are to be desired are the things that are above, "where moths and rust do not corrupt and thieves do not break in and steal." Beautiful thought isn't it? What my flesh wants is to be spoiled - to rest and to be pampered. But this body will either rot or be changed and be caught up to meet him in the air. "Think on these things." |
