- If
the Lord is allowed, He will lead you in paths you have not dreamed
of.
Even believers tend to live
in a realm of predictablilty and familiarity. But the One who
gave Himself for us wants to lead us into more and more richness
of life and deeper experiences of love as He calls us to follow
Him.
The problem is, most will not follow
Him, because most will not do anything that is unsupported and/or
out of he realm of their own experience of knowledge.
All of the Bible heroes of
faith were led by God into strange things - not strange to us,
because we have heard about them.But they were bizarre to those
saints.
He doesn't want us to follow
a plan - He wants us to follow Him. We must know Him so that
we can recognize Him, and follow Him through any earthly hologram.
When God calls a man, He
doesn't tell Him what is coming, but He just says "follow
me."
When He calls your
name, simply answer "speak Lord, for thy servant heareth."
