- We
don't need to figure everyone out.
The Bible says that when
the children of Israel wanted meat and set up a howl to have
it, their discontent was fueled by the "hangers-on"
that followed them out of Egypt. Interesting, isn't it!
The book of Numbers does
not record God as having said anything about those who tagged
along with the Israelites - He just burned with rage that they
had been such complainers and were never content, even with obvious,
supernatural provision.
The issue was never who did
what or who was at fault. That is how Adam and Eve avoided responsibility.
The issue was discontent.
No matter what the other
guy does, says, or has, you submit to the situation given
to you by the Lover of your soul!
