- It is important
to remember that the work the Lord does in the human heart is
usually evident only after the work has been going on for a long,
long time.
Just because someone's behavior
hasn't improved, or is worse, it is foolish to assume that there
is nothing happening. God does not put on public displays that
make His deep work entertainment or even assurance for others.
He is personal.
When the time is ripe, the evidence
will surface, and the fruit will be public.
This is the secret of living
with the unsaved, the messed-up Christian, and continuing in
prayer for those who seem to remain cold.
Remember, roots are under
the ground, away from investigating eyes!
