Don't look for the
fair and the explainable.
Servants of the Lord must
learn to expect the opposite and to yield to Him in it. The Cross
is not the place of hardship - it is the place of yielded hardship.
No one said it would be easy -
in fact it is not possible. Humanly, that is. Things here
seem so upside down. But when we get to heaven we will understand,
and we will realize that God's best is far, far beyond our scope
of comprehension.
How long has it been since you read Pilgrim's
Progress? Read it again. It is a great book! We are Pilgrims. And
by grace, we must move on because we are born into a flow of time. Remember,
we are pilgrims and sojourners in a foreign land.
