- Work is good. We must
remember that the priorities of the world are upside down.
The western world is bent
on recreation, vacations, and retirement. All three of these
time-passings, we are told, should be spent in style.
Christians look forward to
things that the world has not heard about. He is preparing a mansion
for us. He has delights so exquisite that there are not words in human
languages to describe them.
I am almost unbearably tired
tonight. I will rest, and then if I am still living in the morning
and the rapture hasn't taken place, I will set about the schedule
God has given.
Be careful about planning. Leisure
must not be a priority. Not for us. We must be about the work
of the Lord.
