- When the Lord truly has
a human heart and is allowed to reside there, there is an elegance
that is given off by the operating miracle.
It is, of course, simply the presence
of the Lord in a yielded heart. But it is seen in ways that thrill the
onlooker: there is a serenity that is unshakable and there is a willingness
to give more than all. There is security when everything has been lost
and all have misunderstood.
The one who has opened the door
to the knocking Master and is supping with Him is occupied with
what is truly important. Although he must attend to things around
him, he doesn't get all tangled up in them, but deals calmly
with things as they come.
This person is eager to change,
yet at the same time, hell cannot budge him.
This elegance comes only accompanied
by hardship, fiery trials and unfairness.
God puts it all together.
