- I wonder what it would be like
to be completely and easily moved by God.
Each of us tends to look at the
other and try to draw comparisons, but according to God's Word,
that is sin, and I must not do it.
Instead, I must understand that there
are always new depths of submission in which I must yield, and His call
is not to make me an "arrived Christian" so that I can bronze
myself. His purpose in my life is to allow as much fellowship, sight,
and taste of His Glory as I will allow Him to.
- I must be breathlessly and
incredibly careful not to take myself seriously - my feelings,
desires, thoughts, preferences. I must pray with all that I am
to posture myself daily so that He can express His own life through
mine.
It is my "reasonable service".
