- There
is no crisis in heaven. The Lord never paces with His head in
his hands wondering what to do. It is all under control.
As a matter or fact, it has been
under control since the beginning of time. This does not mean
that we have no responsibility, but it does mean that if we are
anxious and preoccupied, we are off.
A servant of the Living God
has a duty to walk by faith. That means there are times when
it looks like the very worst thing is about to happen, the bad
guys are winning, and future possibilities are toppled.
What does the Bible say?
Our Rock of Ages Past is on the
Throne. The Son is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and He rules.
There might be many happenings
that get by us because we pray little, but He listens, and He
hastens to act.
Christians must live as though
they believed God! He says that all things work together
for good for those who love Him and are called according to His
purpose. That means that when I don't like what has happened
or what is about to happen, or what might happen, I'd better
bring myself up short and obey! He must be trusted with the results
even if I don't understand.
- It
is not critical that I understand - only that I obey.
- There
is no crisis in heaven and there is no crisis here.
