- Full attention
must be given to the next thing.
One of the enemy's favorite ploys
is distraction - in fact it is his only ploy, but with variations.
With unending vigor, he splays a myriad of thoughts into the
mind like throwing a bag of seeds on to a plot of land - maybe
some will take root!
But the Christian must be vigilant.
Work, for the night is coming, and there will be no more opportunity
for harvest.
The Lord may come in an hour, and the thing that is before us
must be done with concentration and full effort.
My secretary informed me this week
that if a person lives a full and long life, he only has 400,000
waking hours from birth to death.
- Let's
spend them in the name of Jesus. Let's spend them with a Godly
attitude and know the angels are watching.
Someday in heaven, we are going
to review all of our time here. While all we can do is all we
can do, let's then do all we can do!
