- Things never
are the way they seem when there is an emotional storm.
You can be sure that the Bible
is true and the situation is not when everyone involved
is stirred up. The peace that the Lord brings is an anchored
peace, and is not apart from seeing things through the Word.
Learn to stop and take inventory
of what is going on. Are folks riled? Is someone demanding an
answer right now? Is there a desperate need to explode into expression
or must someone solve tomorrow's problem today?
God acts when He acts, and
if He is pressed to act sooner, He just may do it, and you might
miss God's best.
The flesh is quick to inflame
and wants an immediate salve. The Holy Spirit in a believer will
teach him to quietly wait until there is enough light to see
wisdom.
Everything physical is a picture
of the spiritual.
Get in out of the storm - seek
Shelter - put down your anchor and wait until the Light breaks
through!
