Will it encourage
you if I remind you that many of the greatest victories don't
either feel or look victorious? First, the Bible says "despise not the day of small beginnings", and the reason we are told that is because by the time something is visible here, the whole thing is already being celebrated in heaven. Second, remember that the Cross was no less victorious than the Resurrection. The veil was torn! Redemption was completed. The precious, precious Blood was shed, and remember also that the Resurrection was witnesses only by heaven. We live in layers of concepts, and that is why we are so sluggish so much of the time. There is an energy that comes from accepting the fact that "God said"! God said there would be victory. And there will be. He said He would be the "lifter of mine head". And He is. He said that He is preparing a place for us. And He is. Look up and move on! "And When the Battle's over, We will wear a Crown. . ." |
