There is value
to momentum. And that is one of the sweetest reasons for not asking "why" or "when" or "where". The asking of these questions causes the Christian Soldier to slow down, and he feels he will not be able to regain speed or effectiveness until all of his questions are answered. It is appropriate to ask in prayer because we are willing for anything at anytime, anywhere. But is is wrong to demand that God reveal His plan to alleviate our insecurity. He won't do it anyway. He loves us enough to make us wait. He loves us enough to create the likeness of His Son in us. In order for that to happen, I must learn to die to my own needs. And a living sacrifice does not lay on the altar and set up demands about anything! |
