You need to
be filled with the Holy Spirit. Without this infilling, nothing looks like itself and life is flat and full of stress. When the Holy Spirit is allowed room to rule, there is sight, hearing, and most of all, steaming, radiant, active love. I can not muster up this infilling nor can I squint my eyes and get an infilled look about my face. He is a person, and the infilling is something that happens. It may be over time and it may be in a moment, but it all has to do with how much room is allowed. After all, one can not put much into a glass that is already overflowing with something else. The resident Spirit of God comes with pardon, power, and peace! |
