The Lord did
not get you this far just to let you live in misery for the rest
of your life. Even though you already know it to be true, remember that He is the lifter of your head. Remember that He is your high tower. Remember that He is might to save, and "rushes to the aid" of His children. He has heard, and the very thing that is so hard, He sees. In fact, it is an answer to prayer. It could not go on the way it was, because there was something covered up, and now it is exposed - maybe only to you, but probably not. Remember also that you are where you are now because of obedience. Remember that He wants obedience over everything, and that should be comforting - for He who knows the falling of each sparrow is not unaware of your situation. This is a beautiful time for you, even though it is saturated with unfairness and is incredibly lonely. Roll your cares on Him, "for He careth for you." You have done the right thing. Now, wait for the Lord. |
