"This
little light of mine; I'm going to let it shine. . ." Do you know this little song? It is easy to sing but quite another matter to live out, because circumstances can put a damper on the singer. We must remember the light is going to shine because we are in fellowship with the One who is the Light of the World, not because we will it to shine. Because Jesus is in the business of wooing human hearts, the little light will shine. He speaks through human mouths and hands, and He often delivers His deepest strikes in times when the human speaker feels the weakest. My responsibility is to obey, and to make sure that I am clean before the Lord. He will use my best efforts and my worst failures. He doesn't need my human excellence to win the world - He displays His best through my obedience |
