Our investment
is in heaven. Your family needs your ministry, but your family is not where your treasure should be housed. As the days pass, more and more time is consumed is performing little tasks, attending to living, and operating within the demands of circumstances. But whether you are in a wheelchair or on stage, you absolutely must commit in prayer all you are and all you have for use in heaven's kingdom. We do not always know what that means, but He does. Furthermore, the Lord has made it abundantly clear that He can change our attitudes and motives without our being told all the answers. The bare truth is, you must simply make a decision each day as to whether or not you are willing to let the Lord take what you are and what you have, and invest it where He wants to put it. Anyway, His stocks never vary. |
