It is
critical to remember that "He. . . will not withhold from
you any good thing. . ." Is your heart aching over something? Do you want to be somewhere else doing something else? Is your marriage a constant source of abrasion on your soul? Remember that the Father sent His Son because of Love, and you are not left out. Even though the things that are going on are not fair and a change is imperative, He still designed the situation, and you must look for and wait for Him. Although we have an enemy who designs evil for us and revels in our pain, Jesus died and shed His Blood so that we would have protection, not from troubles, but in them. It is actually quite simple. And it is all under control - it just doesn't look like it. What does the Bible say? It says that our God is our high tower, and our fortress, and the lifter of our head. And so He is. He is not on His way - He is here already, and He knows what is happening. He has already defeated the enemy, and we must learn to obey, and look for Him. There is no situation worse than any other, as far as our God is concerned, except when His children do not obey! |
