It's real
easy to sling around the fact that we are about the Lord's Work
- it's entirely another thing to actually see it as His
Work, rather than ours.
It depends on the manner of prayer.
If we pray only about the things
that obviously need to be done and about the road blocks that
are preventing their realization, we will not see that they are
His.
We must pray about spending ourselves
for the Cause of Christ, while at the same time praying to learn
to lean on Him, and to rest in His sovereignty.
The specific things we ask in
prayer will be reflected in our anxiety levels concerning the
task before us.
